US equities opened broadly lower, and leaned increasingly weak into the afternoon.
Meanwhile...
... as Tesla's Elon Musk said he has a 'super bad feeling' about the economy. Tesla apparently now has a hiring freeze, with chatter it might seek to fire around 10k of its 100k workforce.
There were a few bounce attempts, but all failed, with the week ending on a pretty weak note.
Volatility picked up, if only a little, the VIX printing 25.96, and settling +0.3% to 24.79.
