US equities opened very significantly lower, with the SPX spiraling into the 3600s.

Even CNBC are running with the notion of an economic slowdown. How long until they accept its actually a recession?' Q2 GDP - due July 28th, will likely make it official.
The afternoon saw the SPX print a new cycle low of 3639, with a moderate rally into the close.
Volatility picked up, the VIX printing 34.82, and settling +11.2% to 32.95.
