Summary
US equities opened in minor chop mode... if leaning increasingly upward into the late afternoon. Considering CPI is due early Tuesday, today's strength was surprising, although daily structure still offers a bear flag... arguably negated if >4k.
Volatility picked up... if mostly for technical reasons, the VIX settling +9.5% to 25.00.
