Summary
US equities opened significantly lower, as the monthly jobs data was seen as 'good news is bad news'. The SPX printed 4026, but there was a rather strong bounce stretching into the late afternoon, printing 4080, and settling fractionally lower at 4071.
Volatility broke a new cycle low of 18.95, the VIX settling -3.9% to 19.06... the first weekly settlement under the key 20 threshold since early April.
