Summary
US equities opened broadly lower, with the spx cooling to 3698. There was a recovery to 3750, with considerable chop into the mid afternoon. The closing hour saw some distinct renewed weakness, as the s/t setup favours the bears... with natural target of orange gap to 3638/3583.
Volatility remained muted, the VIX settling -2.2% to 25.30.
