Summary
The day began in pre-market...
... with good jobs data seen as bad news for equities, the SPX opened significantly lower. There were numerous bounces attempts across the day, but all failed, the SPX spiraling lower into the weekend.
Volatility picked up, the VIX settling +2.7% to 31.36.
