US equity indexes closed very significantly lower, SPX -86pts (2.3%) at 3583. Nasdaq comp' -3.1%. Dow -1.3%. The Transports settled -1.9%. R2K -2.6%.

Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, with the US market ironically given an extra kick upward on news UK regime leader Truss, had fired the Chancellor (the equivalent of US T-Sec' Yellen). The gains were shaky from the start though, with the SPX falling into the weekend.
Volatility picked up, if fractionally, the VIX settling +0.25% to 32.02.
