... Twitter snapped higher on news that Musk is offering to close the original deal for $54.20. The stock was quickly halted though, and only resumed just before the close.
A rather unusual chart, and now I wonder when Twitter will be delisted.
The news is somewhat surprising, but it seems Elon is likely just tired of the various court cases distracting attention from his other projects, not least Starship.

The closing hour saw considerable chop, if breaking a new bounce high of 3791.
Volatility was ground lower, the VIX settling -3.4% to 29.07.
