Summary
US equities opened moderately higher, and whilst there was early cooling to turn fractionally negative, there was a secondary push upward to 4540... notably 10pts shy of the Wednesday gap. From around 1pm... a rather significant cooling wave, to turn moderately negative to 4474, and settling at 4478.
Volatility was very mixed, the VIX printing 14.57, but swinging upward to 17.39, and settling +7.4% to 17.10.
