Summary
Equities opened moderately lower, with the SPX breaking a lower low of 4485. There was a bounce to 4519, with considerable chop into the close, settling at 4501.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing 17.34, but cooling back to settle -1.1% to 15.92.
