Summary
US equities opened a little higher, with the Powell duly appearing at 10.05am...
The SPX spiked to 4116, only to see a mini implosion to 4356. From there, a latter day recovery to 4418, and settling broadly higher at 4405.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing 17.36, but then ground lower into the weekend to settle -8.8% to 15.68
