Summary
US equities opened broadly higher, with the SPX battling upward to print a new cycle high of 4195 - the highest since Aug'26th 2022. There was some cooling to 4145, with a renewed push upward to settle at 4179.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing a new cycle low of 17.06, swinging to 19.25, and settling +4.8% to 18.73.
