Summary
US equities opened broadly higher, but the gains were rather shaky, with the market cooling back into the early afternoon. The mid/late afternoon saw the SPX turn significantly lower, printing 4069, and settling at 4081.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing 19.02, but swinging upward to settle +5.5% to 20.71.
