Summary
US equities opened a little choppy, if leaning on the positive side. The market clawed upward into the afternoon to 4138, and settling at 4137.
Volatility was itself muted, the VIX settling -0.9% to 20.34.
Tuesday morning will see the latest CPI data, and whilst the market might open positive, I'd be very mindful of a possible significant downside reversal.
