US equities opened on a positive note, and built very significant gains into the early afternoon. The SPX printed 3843, before some distinct closing hour cooling to settle at 3826.
Volatility was ground lower to 25.31, before recovering to settle -15.5% to 25.56. Last week's bearish engulfing weekly SPX candle threatens broader downside to 3600/3580.
