US equity indexes closed broadly higher, SPX +28pts (0.7%) at 3915. Nasdaq comp' +0.9%. Dow +0.8%. The Transports settled +0.7%.

Summary
US equities began the week on a positive note, with the SPX opening moderately higher, and printing a new hist' high of 3909. There was a little cooling to 3894, whilst the afternoon saw considerable chop, with a closing hour micro ramp to settle at a new historic high of 3915.
Volatility was naturally subdued, the VIX settling +1.8% to 21.24.
