Volatility was ground lower for a fourth consecutive day, the VIX settling -5.0% to 21.77.
Yesterday's black SPX candle failed to play out. Today's new hist' equity high negates last week's weekly bearish engulfing candle. Its unusual, and is a reminder of underlying m/t strength.
