US equity indexes closed very mixed, SPX +21pts (0.6%) at 3748. Nasdaq comp' -0.6%. Dow +1.4%. The Transports settled +2.8%.

Summary
US equities opened on a weak note, especially within tech, but there was an opening reversal, with the market battling upward into the afternoon.
As I periodically note... we live in the twilight zone, and today was just another step further along...
US President Trump dancing to YMCA...
... whilst the objections began... contesting the electoral college votes.

The mid afternoon saw the Chaos... begin...
Unless the corruption and fraud is fully exposed and resolved, today can be seen as the start of Civil War 2. A civil war in a country with nuclear weapons. What could possibly go wrong?
