Summary

US equities opened a little higher, but the gains were shaky from the start, with indexes quickly turning negative... if only fractionally. Price action remained in minor chop mode into the early afternoon.

Meanwhile...

The CEO of the EU branch of Print Central - Lagarde, touting the usual 'we'll do what is necessary' nonsense. Note the negative bond yields for Germany and France. Will they ever turn positive again? It would seem unlikely... until the great financial reset has occurred.

The afternoon saw further minor chop, if leaning fractionally weak into the close. Today's black candle leans s/t bearish, at least for part of Friday.

Volatility was subdued, the VIX settling -1.2% to 21.32.
