Summary
US equities opened moderately higher, with the SPX printing a new historic high of 3824. The opening gains were shaky though, with choppy cooling into the afternoon.
The late afternoon saw further chop, if leaning on the upward side. On any basis, it was a day... and week for the equity bulls.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing 23.34, but settling -3.6% to 21.56.
