Summary
US equities opened moderately lower, with the SPX printing an early low of 4393. From there... clawing upward to print a new cycle high of 4421, and cooling back into the late afternoon to settle at 4411.
Volatility was subdued, the VIX settling +4.2% to 14.76, but the gain was largely technical, due to the new week.
