Summary
US equities opened moderately higher, and whilst the gains were shaky, there was a secondary upward push that extended into the late afternoon. The SPX printed a new cycle high of 4418, and settling at 4415.
Volatility was ground lower, the VIX settling -7.3% to 14.17.
