Summary
US equities opened a little higher, but the gains were shaky from the start, with the SPX quickly swinging from 4525 to 4483. There was a secondary wave higher, which stretched into the close.
Volatility was ground lower, the VIX settling -11.6% to 21.96, but remaining sustainably above the key 20 threshold. The s/t setup favours the equity bears for Wednesday, with Thursday 'prime for the bears'. Maybe the ECB and/or the BoE will upset the market cart?
