Summary
US equities opened choppy after better than expected jobs data, but all the bears could manage was 4451. The afternoon saw increasing strength to 4539, if seeing a moderate case of 'rats selling into the weekend', settling at the big round 4500.
Volatility was mixed, seeing an early high of 26.26, but then ground lower into the weekend, settling -4.6% to 23.22.
