US equity indexes mostly closed a little mixed, SPX -4pts (0.1%) at 4432. Nasdaq comp' +0.2%. Dow -0.3%. The Transports settled -1.2%.

US equities opened in minor chop mode, with the SPX taking a little swing to 4424, before leaning back upward to 4438.
Meanwhile...
For many... it was just another day within a waking nightmare. Some might argue its the fault of the left, others... the right, but it is clear, most want to pretend it ain't happening across the streets of America.

The afternoon saw considerable micro chop, with the SPX settling fractionally lower. Volatility was itself subdued, the VIX settling +3.5% to 16.72.
