SPX - daily5

VIX - daily3

Summary

US equities opened a touch weak, with the SPX cooling to 4440.

Who doesn't like ice-cream? Congratulations to the US populace, whom after almost two decades, thousands of dead military, and a few trillion dollars, have this iconic picture as a result of their leaving.

The afternoon saw further minor chop, with the market seeing a post FOMC-minutes spiral to 4397, and settling at psy'4400.

Volatility was subdued into the mid afternoon, with the VIX spiking upward, and settling +20.4% to 20.57. The s/t setup favours the bears, not least with tomorrow being a Thursday.
