Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, with the SPX quickly breaking a new historic high. The market powered broadly higher into the afternoon.
The afternoon saw considerable micro chop, but once again... the closing hour saw a mini spike upward to break a new hist' high of 4173.
Volatility was naturally subdued, the VIX settling -2.5% to 16.57.
