Summary
US equities opened a little weak, although if you'd been watching the breakfast show on CNBC, from the pictures of traders, you'd have perhaps wondered if it was a case of 'markets in turmoil'...
.... as fear and hysteria is something the mainstream never get tired of.
The market cooled into the afternoon to sp'4150, with a little bounce to settle at 4163.
Volatility picked up, the VIX settling +6.4% to 17.29. However, much of today's gain was due to the new week.
