Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, but the gains were shaky from the start. The SPX saw a sig' swing lower from 6043 to 5977. From there... a recovery to 6031. The late afternoon saw renewed cooling to settle moderately lower at 5983.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing an early high of 20.24, but cooling back to settle +4.2% to 18.98.
