Summary
US equities opened broadly flat... but the SPX took a swing lower, breaking a lower low of 5908, just 3pts shy of tagging red gap. The late afternoon saw a bounce to 5992, if settling moderately lower at 5955.
Volatility picked up, the VIX printing 21.48, if cooling back to settle +2.4% to 19.43.
