Summary
US equities opened a little weak, with the SPX cooling to 5091, and recovering to settle fractionally lower at 5117.
Volatility picked up, although the gain was partly technical due to the new week (old options rolled off, replaced by higher premium ones), the VIX printing 16.04, but cooling back to settling +3.3% to 15.22.
