Summary
US equities opened a little higher, but the gains were shaky from the start, with all indexes turning red. The SPX choppily cooled to 5123, with a closing hour mini recovery to settle at 5150. The two leaders - Trans/R2K, were very significantly lower, and bode net bearish for other indexes into Friday's quad-opex.
Volatility picked up, the VIX printing 15.33, if cooling back to settle +4.7% to 14.40.
