Bill 'no stops' Ackman playing along with the Biden admin', and the rest of the mainstream media hacks, there the US economy is not in recession. I hope the guy is using margin, and loses everything into 2023. Its all he deserves for such overt lies.
US equities opened on a moderately weak note, not helped with concern about Pelosi traveling to Taiwan...
... as hundreds of thousands watched a little plane travel across the map, from Malaysia to Taiwan.

Speaker Pelosi is the first elected US official to visit Taiwan in some 25 years.
I have to wonder what the CCP will do in the months ahead.

With Pelosi landing without incident, equities recovered, with the SPX printing 4140. The afternoon saw considerable chop, if leaning rather weak into the close.
Volatility remained subdued, the VIX printing 24.68, if cooling back to settle +4.8% to 23.93.
