It was just another day for the US equity bulls, with the SPX printing a new hist' high of 4683.
Meanwhile...
Another day closer to the Dark Winter, as not all of those currently on the streets of Philadelphia will survive into spring 2022.

On LaPalma, whilst the cold isn't a problem, if the Lava didn't destroy your home, the ash is almost as big of a problem...
There is chatter that the volcano might be exhausting itself, but the same was said of Pompei. Were the latter to occur, the residents of LaPalma - around 85000, wouldn't have time to escape. Clearly though, the probability of that happening any time soon... are close to zero.

Volatility was subdued, the VIX settling +2.2% to 15.44.
