Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, the SPX pushing upward to print a new hist' high of 5570. From there... rather broad cooling to 5614, and settling fractionally higher at 5634.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing a low of 16.67, but climbing to 18.08, and settling +2.7% to 17.61.
