Summary
US equities opened a little choppy, if mostly leaning upward, the SPX battling to 5546. From 10.30am... some rather significant cooling to 5480. There was a little bounce, to settle -16.66pts to 5503.
Volatility was very mixed, the VIX printing an early low of 19.21, a spike to 21.50, and settling -6.66% to 19.90.
