US equity indexes mostly closed on a weak note, SPX -14pts (0.3%) at 4451. Nasdaq comp' -0.9%. Dow +0.2%. The Transports settled -0.5%. R2K -0.9%

Summary
US equities opened broadly lower, but there was an opening reversal. The SPX floored from 4430, saw a mini ramp to 4446, cooling back to 4430, to form a micro double floor. From there.. choppy upside into the late afternoon, settling at 4451.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing 15.69, if cooling back to settle -0.3% to 14.40.
