Summary
US equities opened on a weak note, with the SPX cooling to 4463. There was a bounce to 4487... effectively filling the opening gap. The mid/late afternoon saw another wave lower to settle at 4461.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing a low 13.71, if settling +3.1% to 14.23.
