Summary
US equities opened moderately higher, but all the bulls could manage was 4143. From there... choppy cooling to 4099, with a mini ramp in the late afternoon to settling at 4124.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing 16.38, but swinging upward to 17.92, and cooling back to settle +0.6% to 17.03.
