US equity indexes closed very significantly higher, sp +58pts (1.7%) at 3419. Nasdaq comp' +1.9%. Dow +1.9%. The Transports settled +2.5%.

Summary
US equities opened significantly higher, and broadly climbed into the late afternoon. The gains were surprisingly strong, and with no adverse Presidential tweets, the gains almost entirely held into the close.
Volatility naturally cooled back, if only a little, the VIX settling -4.8% to 28.06. The market is due a cooling wave, and whilst tomorrow is a Thursday, its difficult to see Tuesday's low of 3354 being taken out before the weekend.
