There is increasing chatter that Biden will step down to allow Hillary a clear run, against none other than Trump. Are we really going to go through 'that' all over again? All three are old, and frankly, it'll be a wonder if any of them make it to Nov'2024.

The afternoon saw considerable chop, if still managing to break a new multi-week high of 3999. Ongoing price action since last Thursday's low of 3721 is impressive, and bodes broadly bullish for August.
Volatility was ground lower, the VIX settling -3.2% to 23.11.
