It was a mixed month for world equity markets, with net monthly changes ranging from +6.3% (South Africa), +5.2% (Japan), +3.2% (Brazil), +1.9% (USA), +0.6% (India, China), -0.1% (Germany), -1.2% (Australia), -7.3% (Russia), to -10.5% (Argentina).
Lets take our regular look at ten of the world equity markets.

Summary
Six world equity markets were net higher for September, with four net lower.
South Africa was very powerfully higher, whilst Argentina was severely lower.
The USA, Japanese, Brazilian, and South African markets broke new historic highs.
Eight markets are trading above their respective monthly 10MA, the two exceptions being Russian and Argentina.
Seven markets have positive monthly momentum, the three exceptions being Russia, India, and Argentina.
