US equity indexes opened rather mixed, Whilst the Dow, R2K, and Trans were red, the SPX did lean upward to print a new hist' high of 6025, and settling at 6021. Volatility was ground lower for a fourth consecutive day, the VIX settling -3.4% to 14.10.
