Summary
US equities opened a little higher, with the SPX printing a new multi-year high of 4802. There was some cooling, but all the bears could manage was 4768, and recovering to settle at 4783.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing 12.99, but cooling back to settle +2.1% to 12.70.
