US equity indexes closed a little mixed, SPX -3pts (0.1%) at 4780. Nasdaq comp' u/c. Dow +0.04%. The Transports settled -0.4%. R2K -0.7%

Summary
US equities opened a little choppy, but the SPX did lean upward to print a new multi-year high of 4798. From there... a distinct downside reversal, cooling to 4739. There was a latter day recovery to settle fractionally lower at 4780.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing 13.31, but cooling back to settle -2.0% to 12.44.
