Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, but the gains were shaky from the start, the SPX maxing out from 4590. From there... choppy cooling into the late afternoon to 4546, and settling at 4549.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX printing 12.64, but picking up to settle +0.9% to 12.97
