Summary
US equities opened moderately lower, but all the bears could manage was 4551, with a fast bounce to 4578. From around 10am... considerable minor chop, that continued across the day, settling at 4567.
Volatility was a little mixed, the VIX ghost printing 13.76, and settling -1.8% to 12.85.
