Summary
It was just another Thursday in equity land, with the SPX opening very significantly lower, but 3330 was all the bears could muster... a notable 20pts above last Friday's low. Indeed, an opening reversal, with equities clawing upward into mid morning.
Early afternoon saw 3328... further chop to 3329 at 3pm, and leaning upward into the close.
Volatility saw an opening spike high of 28.91, but quickly cooled back, the VIX settling +1.6% at 26.46. Friday OPEX will be inclined toward broad chop, if leaning on the upward side.
