Equities saw considerable chop, if breaking a new cycle high of 5990. The late afternoon saw some cooling, to settle effectively flat at 5970. Volatility was ground lower for the sixth day of seven, the VIX settling -0.4% to 17.61. 

It should be clear... Oreshniks are due to be fired, which would be especially natural for a Thursday. If not... there is always the weekend.
