It was a mixed month for world equity markets, with net monthly changes ranging from +4.0% (China), +3.4% (South Korea), +3.3% (South Africa), +3.0% (Japan), +2.4% (Germany), +1.5% (Australia), +1.3% (USA), -0.4% (Brazil), -1.5% (India), to -1.8% (Russia).

Seven world equity markets were net higher for August, with three net lower.
China was powerfully higher, whilst Russia was significantly lower.
The USA, Germany, and Australia printed new historic highs.
The USA, Germany, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, and Australia are trading above their respective monthly 10MA.
The USA, Japan, Brazil, and South Korea have positive monthly momentum.
